Women In Golf Charter

We are proud to announce that England Golf and the R&A have awarded Grimsby Golf Club ‘Women In Golf Charter’ status, after we submitted a detailed document to them explaining our intentions to help grow female golf participation at our golf club.

To begin this process, with the help of our England Golf Club Support Officer, we analysed what the club is already doing in this area, and discovered that that we were already making plans and changes that were consistent with the Women in Golf initiative.

However, there is always more that can be done. So we set about documenting these, and other ideas and plans, as a charter of exciting new commitments, with the ultimate goal of boosting our female participation in both playing and running our great club.

We are passionate about each and every one of those commitments.
